Ann-Marie Meacham (she/her), MPA, CFRE, brings over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in board governance and executive leadership. As the Executive Director of the Menlo-Atherton High School Foundation for the Future and former Board Chair for both the Association of Fundraising Professionals Silicon Valley Chapter and the Junior League of San Jose, she has raised over $30 million and specializes in strengthening Executive Director–Board Chair partnerships, aligning boards toward shared vision, and building the leadership foundations organizations need for long-term success.

Don Burgett (he/him) brings deep nonprofit leadership experience in organizational strategy, fundraising, financial management, and growth. From 2011 to 2024, he co-led Life Lab, a nationally recognized garden-based education nonprofit, helping grow the organization’s budget from $500,000 to over $4 million, expand staff from 8 to 60, and increase its reach from local programming to impact more than 500,000 students annually nationwide. His experience also includes diversified fundraising strategy, foundation relations, donor engagement, board development, and organizational growth.

Gayle Roberts (she/her) brings more than 35 years of fundraising leadership experience and has helped nonprofits raise over $200 million. She has led development teams, served in multiple board leadership roles, and guided organizations in building stronger donor relationships, sustainable fundraising strategies, and greater long-term impact. As Chief Development Officer at Larkin Street Youth Services, she led a 12-person team that helped grow the agency from $23 million to more than $35 million in five years. Gayle is also a global thought leader in the ethical integration of AI tools in fundraising.

Lisabeth Thomi Lobenthal (she/her) has served the nonprofit community for over 30 years. She earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's in nonprofit

management with a focus on Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University.

She has committed her professional life to building community and helping nonprofits

reach their potential through fundraising, board development, leadership development,

member acquisition and best practices.

Lisabeth an executive coach and an adjunct professor at a seminary.

In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband, son, and devilish cat.

Senior Strategist 

Nancy V. Loshkajian (she/her), M.M. brings more than 35 years of fundraising experience serving nonprofits nationally and internationally, including leading colleges, universities, and community-based organizations. Her expertise spans capital and endowment campaigns, feasibility and planning studies, annual giving, major and planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, strategic planning, development audits, and board development. Nancy has also provided fundraising training for initiatives such as the Community Foundation for Monterey County’s Community Leadership Project and the ELEVATE Program with the Arts Council of Santa Cruz County.

Rebecca Levy (she/her) brings 25 years of experience in communications, marketing, and advancement across higher education, nonprofits, public relations, and journalism. Her leadership roles have included work with UC Santa Cruz, Palo Alto University, the University of Washington, and the Dominican Hospital Foundation, as well as major media outlets such as Good Morning America. At UC Santa Cruz, she served as Campaign Director for the university’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign, which exceeded its $300 million goal.

Sherri Shaner (she/her), CFRE brings more than 20 years of fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience helping mission-driven organizations grow revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and navigate periods of change. She has held senior leadership positions with Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY), Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI), First Place for Youth, and Project HIRED. Her expertise includes building sustainable fundraising programs, leading development teams, and securing support from individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government partners to advance organizational growth and impact.

Wanda Scott (she/her), CAP® brings more than 24 years of fundraising and development experience across nonprofit and university settings. She has led advancement teams, built major gifts and corporate giving programs, supported capital and comprehensive campaigns, and partnered closely with boards and leadership on fund development, governance, and strategic planning. Wanda is also experienced in advising individuals on transformational philanthropy and helping organizations build a stronger culture of philanthropy.
